I personally believe that I was not given enough information regarding prices before an expensive consultation, or during it. I wish someone would have left me a review explaining how it works... if their $1500 retainer fee jumped to $4000 for the extra duty of getting a difficult to remove spouse out, like mine became. Now that I know it is beyond my means, I'm so glad there is something like legal zoom and lawyers are generous enough (and maybe wealthy enough) to give initial consultations at no charge.
