My children have had a fantastic experience attending STEM exCEL/BSTEM summer camps. They've truly enjoyed every moment. Additionally, we've participated in several STEM exCEL after-school enrichment programs at Navy Elementary School. My 10-year-old and 11-year-old boys particularly loved the Minecraft courses, which went beyond just playing the game. STEM exCEL offers enrichment clubs at our elementary school which I have helped coordinate as a member of the PTA. Working with STEM exCEL is always very easy. They have even offered several free registration scholarships to students in our community. In addition, my kids participate in the clubs and really enjoy the variety of offerings from Roblox Game Design to Minecraft Programming. The instructors are always on time and do a great job engaging the classes!
I’m the afterschool enrichment program coordinator for our elementary school and we have only had positive experience with STEM exCEL. They run a tight ship and has always been professional with great communication and has made it easy for us to work with them. I’m the after school enrichment coordinator for my kids’ elementary school. We’ve worked with STEM exCEL for over ten years. They do an amazing job. They provide a fun and engaging way for kids to learn computer skills.
It would be great if they weren't permissive of bullying and violence from other students. Really wanted to love this place but I can't trust that kids can learn new stem skills in an environment with unstable kids...skip this at all possible.
