​​STEM Camp is a not for profit organization founded in 2013, offering up fun and educational summer camp experiences for kids 5-13 all across Ontario. Campers grow their skills in science, technology, engineering and math through hands-on STEM activities that promote discovery, reward curiosity, and leave children amazed at what they can do! This was hands down the worst camp experience we’ve ever had. The staff were disorganized, unprofessional, and seemed completely untrained in handling kids. My child came home crying every day, saying the counselors ignored . The customer service manager Miranda she is very unprofessional not listening the parents concern . My son was acting some other kids so they want him to send him back home. As well as they have one hall and all the kids are in one room. All different aged kids are in one room . Both my children, boy 10 and girl 8, absolutely loved everything about STEM camp and are thrilled to enjoy another fun filled week this summer! As a parent I was also very much impressed with everything. From the staff to all the fun, not to mention all they learn, I have not one bad thing to say about this camp!
Horrible customer service! (St. Thomas, Ont. location) Inquired regarding (2) days only. First there was confusion regarding the days I was inquiring about. Her response was "we don't offer weekend camps!". I said, yes I know, I was inquiring about the Friday only. She says "I know!" I said, oooookay........ This will be our second year sending out kids to STEM camp. They had an excellent experience last summer, lots of interesting activities, and they asked to go back this summer!
I have sent my daughter the last two years now to STEM Camp. She absolutely loved the one in Cambridge and this past summer was worried about Guelph not being the same. It was just as well organized. Staff are friendly and attentive. It's definitely a repeat camp on our itinerary each summer and is the one camp she repeatedly talks about. The facility in Cambridge was nicer than the Guelph one, but that's me being a picky parent. It is an expensive camp but my daughter loves it so much I make it work but it's not for everyon... read more
