StellerVista has gone downhill fast since the merger. They denied me a loan, disregarding years of loyalty, higher income, and property value, all based on my 2020 tax return. The pandemic's impact on my business meant nothing to them. The personalized service is gone. You used to be able to call your branch and speak to a staff person who knew you. Extremely disappointed after the merger. Heritage Credit union served their members and did it well. Shame on the President and the Stellar vista staff for creating so many road blocks with simple tasks like basic banking has become a complete time consuming nightmare. Was a Heritage member for 30 yrs and am leaving due to their ever increasing level of incompetence that has effected my credit and further frustrated with all other dealings. As both the Heritage Credit Union and now the newly formed Steller Vista Credit Union, I have had nothing but good service from them both on the phone and in person. Since I live and work in a small community I love to support the institutions that support the community and Steller Vista fits the bill. They have been getting a bad wrap lately because of the merger and having to reinvent themselves. These are growing pains in my opinion and aren't something I feel will set them back long term.
