They are still living in Covid era. You have to make appointment during your work hours to just to try out the chair. And you aren’t guaranteed either… skip and ignore them… And people are rude there
There's just no actual way to get ahold of them to see, sit, or interact with their furniture. Why even have a showroom in the middle of Manhattan? Absolutely horrible customer experience, just go to Herman Miller.
I was a little nervous because of the low reviews and being appointment only. I was going to be in NYC for a conference and contacted them ahead of time to see if they'd have any of those dates available. Mike was very helpful and prompt with his replies. On the day of the visit I came in at about the same time that another person had arranged as well and Mike walked us both through everything. We're in the market for some new office chairs and since we're based in NYC, I was happy to see that Steelcase has a showroom in Manhattan so that I could try chairs out in person. What I was not happy about, was when I tried to book an appointment to see some chairs, I was given a laughably short and narrow range of possible times to come in to view chairs.
