Bill and his team are great! Bill has been doing taxes for years, he does take a bit and you may wait for your appointment (bring a good book) but he is WELL worth the wait. My husband and I used Turbotax prior to finding Bill 4 years ago. After using TurboTax the IRS sent us a letter stating we owed 3k! Yikes, Bill and his team took a second look and were able to get us back $1,500 vs owing! His team is getting better at time management, but if you want things done right you have to see Bill. This accountant was awful...Where do I start. I expect to wait at an accountant's office for a tax filing but while I was there I watched people being escorted ahead of me for "questions" for Bill Stearnes that lasted hours. I had a 9 o clock am appt and a 1 o clock pm flight. Since I wasn't seen until 11:30 I was late for my flight. This happened two years in a row. Then our taxes were messed up BADLY. I used Stearns for several years and all was well until 2012. He was very rushed and filed extensions because he couldn't get to my taxes on time. I wasn't in a hurry, so I was fine with the extensions and late filings until several months later when I was contacted by the IRS and told that I filed my taxes late, and that they were seizing my paycheck to pay the late filing penalty. Best Accountant in Southern Arizona – Stearne's Tax & Accounting Team is the best accountants I have ever used. He takes the extra time to really get you the best return. My husband and I have been going to him for 3 years now, and we couldn't be happier. His rates are fair, and he knows his stuff. DO NOT USE THIS ACCOUNTANT – DO NOT USE THEM DO NOT USE THEM I was referred to Stearns by people I work with. WHen I called they were more than happy to get my business and made an appointment right away. When I showed up for my appointment I saw Bill. He was very friendly but I felt VERY RUSHED.
