Easy process of setting up reservation, getting sized, picking up gear, storing gear overnight, etc. Great location right at the base of the mountain near gondola. Nice staff. Gear is well maintained. Rented boots, skis, helmets, poles for me and my two young daughters. Got snowboard, boots, and helmet for my husband.

Honestly pretty awful experience. Visited the Steamboat Ski and Sport by the base, selection of boots and skis were slim to say the least, and customer service just wanted you in and out of the store ASAP. As result, the boots I received were far too big. When I went to exchange, they told me to choose between the two sizes that did not fit me. Alas, 2 hours later my foot slipped out of my boat while skiing(even though was set as tight as possible), causing me to injure my leg, ruining my whole trip. Had them used in the pas... read more
