does an excellent job of helping those in need and of community outreach, especially now in the hard times of the covid-19 crisis. i wish i could donate more, and more often.
I know that if it's free or a hand up you really shouldn't complain but I was quite concerned after arriving home and putting the food away at the number of expired goods that were over 3 months out of date. Best buy dates aren't firm on most items but nutritional value is lost and certain things can have a negative impact on individuals, especially if it's a canned or pouched food containing cheese or egg ingredients.
