Like a bank but better because there are not any stockholders. The credit union exists to serve members and the community, not just to make a profit.
They are rude. I bank with JAFCU but they are a shared branch. They put my deposit on hold. They required that I show ID to make a cash deposit. It took forever for somebody to decide they wanted to assist me because they were putting up a Christmas tree. Very bad experience and ridiculous policies. I will never ever bank with them.
