I want to start by saying that I'm so happy that statesboro has public transportation now. As someone with no car, it's hard getting around statesboro without one since the city isn't exactly pedestrian friendly. But with that being said, I think people would enjoy the bus system more if the buses were reliable and actually came at the scheduled time that is stated on google maps. Driver took his frustrations out on me because he drove past me and I called his supervisor. They had a bus break down and he had to do multiple routes. Name is VICTOR R. Bus does not arrive on time at all: they don’t know anything about what the website says as far as scheduling a pick up or Google maps being able to see when the buses are scheduled to arrive. It’s just not reliable. That’s why it’s always empty they drive right past each stop. I also heard they sit at the post office all day.
Good service and nice people but not worth waiting an hour in the sun. At least add some benches at all stops.
