Customer service was good, but management is not good, if you miss land tax due date payment they referre immediately to debit collectors dont even attempt to contact users or send reminder and give some time to pay. But taking initiative to habdover to debit collectors as soon as the due date past. Not good, they should know that we dont run away with land. management have to change it. People wont runway with their land in VICTORIA. Department should have some patience.
The invoice fails to provide the address for which the land tax invoice applies. this would make it very easy for scammers to send out your invoices with their own bank details for payment.
Do not buy any property in Victoria. If you have properties in Victoria, sell them and leave the state. Vic government has the worst policy to property owner particularly investors. If you own a second property and you solded it in the beginning of a year, SRO will charge you landtax for the whole year and there is no examptions for the period that you don't own the property. Your land value has been used 6 times for charging you by the state and city coucils in Victoria. Leave this state.
The anxiety of owning more than one property caused by the ever increasing property related taxes is not worth the potential financial benefits in Victoria.
