horrible horrible service, website, and office. these people dont care about customer service-- only whats on their lunch menu for the day. how can this be a govt run agency? no professionalism, lazy workers who can barely speak or understand english working the front lines. pathetic, you get better customer service at walmart.
Never lived here. Never had anything to do with California. Yet somehow these people are here to "help" me. This help is in the form of thousands of dollars in delinquent taxes, interest, fees, etc. I am still dumbfounded in the complete lack of common sense in anyone having anything to do with the government in California. I don't live there, never have either-yet for some reason I have to pay taxes there. Wild.
Recieved a piece of mail from them saying they withheld 750 dollars of my federal refund, why can CA tax outside residents? Is this place a scam? I did get a rental in California for the military during a school but was only there for 3 weeks before flying back, other than that, never been to CA. Horrible place stealing from other states
Having a callback option is pointless when all your lazy reps just hang up on people. Heck, same with having a phone number to call in the first place. 80% of the time you guys are hanging up on people.
This agency operates like a scam company. I had to verify multiple times that this was legitimate. I received a latter from the tax board indicating a balance due. The letter was dated and had a payment due date. When I spoke to the representative, he seemed to indicate that the penalties go up every day and that I was now due more than the amount that was in the notice even though the due date is a week away.
