I’ve had several great experiences with SECU mortgages in the past, but the Rea Farms branch was a total disaster. My loan officer, Laura, was extremely unprofessional and incompetent. She made repeated, fundamental errors, including missing a whole digit on financial figures and entering my email incorrectly, which caused me to miss critical documents. I will never return to this branch again.
Extremely poor service from Laura Thomas. Unprofessional, rude, and not helpful at all. Save yourself the frustration and ask for a different loan officer.
Unprofessional and Lazy. I was given incorrect information twice—once for a card application and again for a mortgage. The staff member kept saying "yes" to everything just to brush me off, but provided the wrong card and a completely inaccurate loan quote without checking my documents. Their negligence almost cost me tens of thousands of dollars and my home purchase. Avoid this branch at all costs!
Extremely unprofessional experience with the mortgage staff here. The loan officer was very dismissive and made a snap judgment on my loan amount without even reviewing the financial documents I provided. To make it worse, they left inaccurate notes in the system based on this incomplete assessment, which has caused unnecessary trouble for my application. If you’re looking for a thorough and responsible loan officer, I suggest going to a different branch.
