SDFCU has fully succeeded in taking the most basic, personal financial transactions and turning them into overly complicated technical operations via video connections. If you can actually get a teller online immediately, you'll scoot out in about 2-3 minutes. If not, you'll be there for awhile and hopefully one of the human employees inside will come out and offer to conduct your transaction the old way. I’ve been a member of the state department credit union since 1983. I worked on the base. My name was changed via marriage. All documents including license, marriage license, deeds were all proper Do you know they consistently denied me access to my account that I had since I was a teenager. Ultimate betrayal! My entire family were members as well! I was treated like a third class citizen.
After hours wasted at the Clarendon branch (two separate visits) and hours of calls with CU representatives who couldn’t help me, walking into the Rosslyn branch was a breath of fresh air. In short order, Ashley listened to the problems I presented and assured me she could fix them. And fix them she did! First encounter with a cu rep in over a month when I didn’t leave or hang up angry and frustrated. Thank you Ashley!!!
I've visited the Rosslyn Branch a few times this past week to resolve some issues I've been having. The Rosslyn team have been nothing short of amazing. The small team if three were beyond helpful with any needs I've had. Ashley has been so patient with me as well regarding my App and Debit Card. I truly appreciate the entire team.
Foreign Service Officer situations are always more complex than for “ordinary Americans.” Today Ashley C at the Rosslyn Branch quickly understood my request, swiftly processed my papers, and with a nice smile sent me on my way.
