It's far away but worth the trip from Alexandria.
Highly recommend any time of the year.
A great place to walk, but considering it is a state arboretum I expected more professional attention to the grounds. They should setting an example about how to manage invasive species ! The size of the property has great potential to become an exhibition ground about how to manage invasives. They are not currently taking advantage of the opportunity.
