Beautiful, natural way to experience being out on the water around Hilton Head Island. The crew (Sam and Ashley) looked after us well, shared fun and educational information, and were happy and relaxed. There was plenty of time to have conversation with my fellow-passengers and, because there weren't that many, I jumped at the offer to take the helm. We took the afternoon sail on the Stars & Stripes with Vagabond and it was fantastic. The crew was great, and Captain Peter was awesome. If they ask for volunteers to help raise the sail, raise your hand: you get to crank the sail up yourself, just like the crews do in the America's Cup races, and it's a great experience. We saw dolphins and shrimp boats, and the wind at the end of September was strong. Too many people in the sailboat where you couldn’t see anything. Info says bathroom on board but captain of the boat said not for women! It was not enjoyable and will not do it again.
This boat tour was so fun, we saw dolphins, jellyfish, manatees. Mr. Peter was so kind and the staff was so friendly! I definitely would recommend this tour for anyone visiting Hilton head. ⛵️🌊☀️
