Starling bank works ok until something go's wrong, then they just simply don't bother, I asked for cash from a 'Note MAchine" ATM, nothing came out, I contacted the ATM company who speedily sent confirmation to me of the failure, I attached this to the Starling app, as requested, despite doing as requested, six days later Starling had done nothing, said they could not see the funds return confirmation, which resulted in me wasting my time to prop up a bank and it's app that clearly can do simple things but it cannot or will ... read more
Tried to open an account online after a great recommendation from a friend and was denied with NO Explanation and NO way of finding out why!! Very weird as applied to Monzo Bank and was welcomed with open arms. Do Not even Bother With Starling it’s not a bank!
Terrible bank - have been with them for 3plus years, and out of nowhere they are closing my account - given a month to move my money out, yet they have stopped all transactions in and out - and won’t give a reason as to why. Have read over the terms and I am in line with all of them, have provided them all the info each year that they ask for. Wouldn’t recommend unless you want bad bank habits to affect your business!
Starling bank is amazing, i recently noticed my phone wallet app said my Starlin app was suspended, i rang the freephone number and within seconds talking to a lady, no call centres or waiting times, within a very short conversation passing security questions she rectified it from her end, i was so impressed and now all my worries and stress had gone, such a fantastic response.
Absolutely rubbish bank don’t touch with a barge pole
