My mother lived at Starlight ALF in Deland for more than two years. She was 95 when she moved in, and was totally blind, so she needed a lot of care. Runell and his staff, particularly Sheila, genuinely care about the residents and do their very best to keep everyone safe and happy. On multiple occasions, the physical therapists who would come in to see residents commented it was one of their favorite ALFs to visit because it was so good, compared to what’s out there. I have work at Starlight for going on 3 year's and I love it and my residents the once I have taken care of that have pass on and the ones now are amazing.the work place is like being at home .My Boss Runell is a great person to work for he has a heart of Gold and there is nothing he want do for you with in reason 🤣 but believe me Starlight ALF is one of the best !!!
This place is absolutely Lovely and the staff is amazing. I wouldn't want my loved one anywhere else.
