Quality supermarket This is a very good, LARGE supermarket. They have a lot of variety of everything. Really extremely convenient for city dwelling folk that have a hard time getting around. Especially because they have a full liquor store contained in one department of the store! As an underage college student, you probably will appreciate the relative ease with which the non-English speaking cashiers will sell you any products from this section.
Good for an Urban Supermarket For a supermarket that's located in the heart of the city, this place is great. Once inside, you have no idea that you're in a city supermarket because the store is massive like one you'd find in the suburbs. Prices are relatively comparable with prices at other Boston food outlets. Very clean, lots of registers, easy to get in and out.
Best in the City! You cannot do better than this Shaw's if you're looking for an urban super market. The selection is amazing considering their location. In particular their selection of deli meats, cheeses and olives is amazing. They have everything you could ever want in a super market.
