Star Market - Cambridge Star Market is really great. It has a natural food section with really low prices and a good selection. The weekly sales are also really great. Some of them include ice cream for $1.88 a half gallon, $2.50 Boca Burgers, and $2.50 for chock full o nuts coffee. The store is also large and usually not very crowded with a self checkout section.
I miss safeway Why oh why..... why are their two places for veggiartian food, four places for soda, two places for yogurt and no chili? (If their is I would seriously like to know where.) why can't I find anything in Star market? Why is it that four times I have become loyal to a brand and they stop carrying it or maybe order it? Mold of the "free pizza" I bought at the brookline location on Tappan Street. Gross.
Good store. Pleasant help. I always find what I'm looking for. Thumbs up.
Literally only one nice cashier there, everyone else is miserable. There are never enough lanes open. At least have an express lane available? I've left without buying anything more times than I can count simply because there are too many people waiting to check out. This store is busy enough. Come on.
Went there today and, in one side, the elevator is broken. In the other, no automatic door. Plus, one of escalators is broken. Luckily, I only had a stroller and worked around it. How any handicapped person is supposed to get to the store? If you have a store on second floor, having a broken elevator is UNACCEPTABLE. What a disrespectful business.
I have been purchasing the Lucern milk product from star market and for the last two time it has gotten spoiled in 2-3 days. I have kept it in the fridge all the time. I don't see a reason for it to get spoilt before its expiry date. This is terrible a experience.
