Customer service and selection is out of this world!! I drove to their location from Upper Marlboro twice already. I have already purchased 3 train sets from them, and I will definitely be back. I received so much advice, guidance and knowledge starting with the first visit. They are awesome!!!! I definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for an outstanding hobby shop. If they don’t have it, they will get it for you.
One of my favorite places to go, either to buy something specific or just to browse. There’s always something new…always! Friendly helpful staff, interesting hobby supplies. Especially G scale and LGB but also Lionel, HO and even N scale. A real treasure.
STAR HOBBY is an incredible place and a must-visit for any hobbyist. Don, the owner, his son, and his father were there. Getting to hear the history of the business made the experience even more special. You can really feel the passion and legacy behind the shop. The selection is outstanding—tons of airplane models, a huge variety of train stock and supplies, RC trucks and boats, and a very comprehensive inventory of Traxxas parts.
