This review is for the Black and Decker portable air conditioner. If you choose this air conditioner keep realistic expectations. It states that it will cool an area of up to 350 square ft. We purchased this unit to try and cool a master bedroom and bathroom that has just over 300 square ft. The photographs below are of the unit sitting in a 130 square ft. Bathroom. We purchased a portable air conditioner 14,000 btu from this company. The thing only got used for a few months before it broke. We used it July-Aug last year and again for half Jun- beginning July this year before it failed around July 9. The water coming out of the drain pipe started to turn greasy, then the coils in the back began to develop ice. After that, the unit just blows warm air.
