Horribly unprofessional. I originally came to them to work with Shawn Jarrett (decades of experience) and she was great. But she left and without me even knowing, the former law clerk was now my attorney - barely out of law school. From there, it was terribly downhill. Would not respond to anything. My last communication from my attorney Melanie Cain is where she told me she would not be sharing communication that had taken place between her and the opposing counsel on my behalf - my basic rights as her client. Hired the Fort Wayne, Indiana location for a uncontested divorce. About as simple as it gets. No property division arguing. Just submit 2 documents to the court and wait for the required 2 months waiting period. I thought I was hiring a local attorney. This appears to be based out of Illinois. This is on me. Could not recommend Shawn enough! I’m a father to an amazing 18 month old girl and I’m positive without her assistance I wouldn’t get to have my daughter as often as I do, I’m sure I’d be stuck fighting to be treated as Ana equal parent and never getting the outcome my daughter deserved. Since having her on my side in court, she’s taken time to help walk me through the process and reassure me. Working with Shawn Jerret was amazing, she was very efficient and made a stressful situation easy to navigate. I also had the pleasure working with Sheryl, she was very sweet and helpful. I couldn't reccomend a more considerate and down to earth team.
Do not use this law firm, it is a scam!! I called and set up a consultation and they said I needed to pay $175 to reserve the spot so I did. Then I called back ten minutes before the consultation to confirm if they would call me or if I should call them, the front desk couldn’t tell me or do anything but transfer me to lines that didn’t answer.
