I'm leaving my current bank because of their repeated poor customer service. I went to Standing Stone to open new accounts only to be told I need an appointment to open an account. I gave them my name and phone number but a week later they still haven't called me. Their customer service is worse than the bank I'm leaving. My search for a decent bank in Lancaster continues ...
My parents kindly wrote me a small check to help cover a bill I had coming out. I would have just went to my bank but I figured it would be easier to just go to Standing Stone. I went and gave them my ID but the woman refused to cash the check and told me to go to my bank. My parents had the money in the account so I’m not sure why this was a problem for the teller.
