I bought shutters from this company and after five years the cord frayed and I was unable to get the shutter up or down. I had to wait 3 weeks before someone called to come out and fix it. Their call-out fee is outrageous in my opinion $135 just to come out and more money for parts. My other shutters which have been up for years have not had any problems. It seems they are using less inferior materials now probably to keep themselves in business.

Sharing my experiencw thus far for others considering Stan Bond, and with the hopes that going public will speed up rectification. I contacted Stan Bond in August to get some Crimsafe installed on my property and they came on September 19 to do the installation. Half of my order was installed but they ran into issues with the back screen doors not fitting. I had 3 quotes and Stanbond being the 3rd. The difference between prices was absolutely ridiculous. Definitely worth to shop around.
