I feel compelled to write a positive review of my experience. I just called the Tax Collectors office to report a lost check for my real estate taxes. The experience could not have been better. My call was answered immediately, the agent made a note in my file to report the lost check and the fact that the bill was paid online. She informed me of the 5 day processing time when the bills are paid online. There were no issues, no problems and the agent was friendly and professional.

Pathetic system for this era. . Did not make it easy to pay online. Disfunctional. To be expected from bureaucrats who get rewarded for being disfunctional.

The customer service is horrible, they all have attitudes for nothing. I call to verify an owner of an address and I immediately get transferred to a voicemail (I press option 5 to get to a rep since all other options didn't pertain to me). I call back to get the same person who sounds so annoyed they have to answer the phone again and I asked if there is anyone available to verify an address. She asks me what's the address and she told me the owner which I thanked her for and she just immediately hung up again. No have a "g... read more

Horrible, inappropriate and verbally abusive treatment from multiple staff members in the collector's department; even the supervisor. Corrupted and cynically driven department that seems to be sick and tired of dealing with the public. Hopefully one day AI can take over these types of departments and the people can get decent service.

Paying taxes for a vehicle that was not registered and not moved for an entire year because it was in storage is just a big scam
