My group of living historians visited the on the 05/06/2019 to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day, wearing uniform of the period as a reminder to a generation who lived during these war torn times, the staff were fantastic and very friendly providing refreshments and snacks for the home and my self. Also ensuring the residents were warm before the flypast of 40 WW2 airplanes. A fantastic day and I hope to work with them again in the future
This is such a wonderful place, my father was here for quite some time. The staff are so caring and always there to answer any of our queries, we were allowed to bring my fathers dog in to visit every week and the rest of the residents love the interaction. I am specifically pleased at the way the staff treated us as a family and my father couldn’t praise them enough. Sadly my father had now passed after 2 years being there, Darren was very good with my father and I thank him for taking such good care of him.
