As a practicing architect for over 35 years, my office has worked with tile/stone suppliers throughout the US and Europe. After selecting a French pattern travertine at Stafford Tile & Stone for our own home, we requested samples of all of the tile sizes. Months later, I had to point out that the pieces were not finished the same. Only at this point, they admitted to using different suppliers for the already purchased stone.
