Was making a gift box for my grandma and forgot to bring out one word search book from the box when I went to pay and the store owner accused me of stealing which yes it looks like I was, but then he profiled me and my friend accusing us of stealing multiple items even tho we have the receipts from the other stores. He tried to scan one of the other items from Target and even tho it did not come up on their system he accused me of stealing it and “switching the barcodes” like how is that possible. manager targeted us as we were a group of teenagers buying Halloween costumes, I didn’t have a receipt from another discount store and he got aggressive and interrogated us after I showed him bank statement also came up to us and told us we weren’t allowed to try or open hairspray although we were only looking at colours. was never greeted upon arrival and constantly stared at by the manager so dissapointed
unfortunately all the employees seem pretty unenthusiastic and the male adult looks extremely bored and acts that way towards his customers, even at the checkout they have the most disrespectful look to you and are pretty rude even if you the customer are very polite. It’s pretty sad because it’s not hard at all to try and it would actually make a difference. Even as a repeat customer it’s always the same bad attitude, wouldn’t really recommend this store anymore
Horrible customer service, do not recommend buying anything from here. Had to go here cause the other discount shop ran out of stock. Highly recommend going to Hot bargin! customer service there is so much better, glad they have some competition!!
