Sadly it seems acceptable to prejudice against people of significant height. My dad was 6’4” and after a few weeks of respite, he was rejected from permanent care due to him needing a longer bed and “mostly requiring 3 people to lift,” even though he was able to stand on his own and was not an overweight man (just tall). Otherwise much the same as most aged care centres with some staff members wonderful and some absolutely not.
