I hope I go there when I have dementia
Very impressed by the dedication and hard work of the Carina St Vincents staff including cleaners, hospitality and care staff and volunteers. Food is now prepared on site and my father loves it - looks fresh and nutritious. Beautiful gardens surround the dedicated memory support areas. My father's room is light and airy and has a beautiful garden view. Am so glad we decided to move our father to this aged care home as it understands what makes a place a real home environment. My mum is in there in a secure ward. She's not supposed to be in a secure ward. The food they serve is absolutely disgusting and my mum hates it. She has lost so much weight while in there. And they won't allow us to take her out for a break. Horrible place
Brought my mother-in-law who lived independently from Toowoomba to Carina nursing 4 months ago. At 92 mum has been cared very well in a lovely refreshed room meeting all her needs required. She is now going to the gym, joining in activities and been on a delightful bus trip Very happy for her
