I ride my bike and take the bus and keep a backpack with me to transport what I'm buying etc. St. Vincent DePaul has a no bags policy now and that is okay BUT they expect you to put your backpack in a place where someone could easily walk off with it. They used to provide you a safe place to put it but not now. Goodwill provides a locker and will get my business from now on until Vinnies offers some customer service. Literally they have more security than Fred Meyer, Walmart, Target, Winco, Safeway, and probably Fort Knox! I... read more

Two stars because they organize their books and movies pretty well. Other than that, I find most items to be overpriced. The consumer should be rewarded with a fair price for hunting for the used product. Even if it’s a new product, it shouldn’t be priced equally to what eBay or Amazon has it as. Today they were lowering the price of an overpriced item. I’m curious if they’ll have to lower it again in the future.
Always great shopping experience super friendly staff in every store. The only thing that could definitely improve is the music choice in their stores. It's a souless Cumulus radio station with no real people behind it. It's well known to super low quality & generic...and super mainstream. Eugene has a perfectly good public-funded radio station that has recently lost federal funding....WFUV! Come on St Vincent support them!
