I used to love these stores. They speak about community but their prices of products match retail at this point. There’s never a lack on product or clientele. What’s the point of keeping prices so high on products they receive for free?
Earlier today I witnessed a manager reprimand an employee in pubic... I thought to myself, "How Unprofessional. Do they not train their managers??" That was definitely a conversation that should have been held behind closed doors. Way inappropriate.
I ride my bike and take the bus and keep a backpack with me to transport what I'm buying etc. St. Vincent DePaul has a no bags policy now and that is okay BUT they expect you to put your backpack in a place where someone could easily walk off with it. They used to provide you a safe place to put it but not now. Goodwill provides a locker and will get my business from now on until Vinnies offers some customer service. Literally they have more security than Fred Meyer, Walmart, Target, Winco, Safeway, and probably Fort Knox! I... read more
