In 2014 to better serve St. Tammany Parish we opened our membership to St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Office and St. Tammany Parish Hospital.

Tried to get an account. Today received paperwork saying I could go online to finish the account. But I need my member number. Member number on the paperwork is blanked out with stars except for the last two digits. Emailed the credit union to ask how I could get the number. I was told that the account is already closed because they didn't receive the $10 deposit. That they had called and emailed. Did not receive an email asking for any information. Just a bit of advice for anyone looking at St Tammany Federal Credit Union as a good business. I personally deposited $10,000 in an account. It sat there for 5-6 years when I received a letter stating that I'd start losing $25 a month since my account was inactive. So, to be clear, they had my money for 5-6 years earning zero interest and then threaten to start draining it $25 at a time. This is NOT a business you want to deal with.
