Mary Lues & St. Peter Woolen Mill Shopping at Mary Lue's and the Woolen Mill is always a bit different each time I stop in. The last time I was there, I bought one of their hand made wool mattress pads. I LOVE it! They don't have a lot of them on display though, you have to ask to see them. They have reset the store for easier walking and shopping over the last year and have added quite a bit of new-fashion yarns and patterns. Neat place This store is also known as Mary Lue's. It is a historic store in town... it's actually a woolen mill still today, I believe. You can peek in the back and see them making things with wool on big racks. It's a neat place to visit and they have a lot of nice gift-type items toward the back of the store. They carry yarn and quilting supplies, but in my opinion, they're not that great. It seems to be the same stuff you can get at Michael's, just more expensive.
