Epic fail if you come here to entertain, especially when you’re a musician. I am a member of a small combo, and we entertained the residents once a month for years. This year, we were cut back to four times a year. A new activities director wanted to “try out other options”. When we showed up for our first job under the new regime, we found out that we had been canceled, because they had “something going” at that time. St Mary of the Woods has a wonderful Pastoral Care department! Mary Lou is exactly where she needs to be and definitely makes a difference in the lives of her residents.

Tuesday, July 1, Bishop Malesic celebrated Mass here at Saint Therese at Saint Mary of the Woods. The Bishop received the same welcome all residents do! Hospitality was extended to all and the team worked and served all residents and guests with great care. Maintenance and Housekeeping continue to make the building shine like a diamond. Chef Morris and his staff provided an excellent reception for the residents and guests. A great and prayerful day for all. Truly a day where faith was the source of our community.
