Elliott, Hannah and Ralph in the cafeteria are the most friendly. They make the dining experience what it should be. They make you feel comfortable, know you by name and their smile shows that they care. God Bless
I found the staff to be exceptionally TERRIBLE. I am a RN of 16 years and have never experienced such lack of care or inconsistent care. My mother ultimately died after being in their care and every professional that I talked to after her decline absolutely connected it to the care given here. My recommendation would be to not allow your family member to be placed there, but if so, make sure that you have some family member or a close friend that can be there around the clock. My stay at St. Lukes Surrey Place Skilled Nursing has been consistently pleasant. The facility is clean, well kept, and inviting. The nurses and techs are attentive, professional, patient, informative and kind. The therapists challenged me, yet they were safe and paid attention to my pain and skill level. I was very hesitant to come here. I can say, after being here for one week, that if I had to have inpatient rehab, I am happy that it was at Surrey Place. When I saw the reviews I was worried because they were so low. I was here nine days and when I tell you that was not my experience at all. I would give them ten stars. First the place was always clean. Every one was pleasant to me. The dietary gave you a lot of options and the food was pretty good. They would set the plates up, removing plastic and opening up any thing that needed to be open. The nurses and aids everyday was nice and helpful.
