I disagreed on the origin of my pain but have followed all instructions and therapy requirements yet Hillary noted in my chart "Barriers to Learning: Refusal. and that I had self-diagnosed. Patient disregards education of low back pain." However, I'm doing what she told me to do despite my experience of what happened. I thought the note was snide and unnecessary being that I've followed her instructions. I've never ever had a medical professional make a trivial remark like that in a chart. I thought it was a bit childish.
Hillary and Theresa are amazing.
Hilary is an awesome physical therapist. My post-op called for 12 weeks of therapy and she had me back in 8 weeks. You personally have to be willing to put in full effort and do the exercises at home as instructed. Hilary is very thorough, explains why you're doing an exercise and how it effects your recovery. She is very personable and friendly, we shared a lot of laughs while doing the work. Monica is the nurse/assistant at this location and you could not ask for a friendlier greeting when you show up.
