Mike in the business department could use some CS training. Rude, can’t answer questions about his department and tells people “you need to do some homework”. Great representation of the business department!
Everyone dreads going to City Hall, because it always means dealing with more bureaucracy than planned. However, AJ in the Assessors' office made this experience much smoother. AJ was extremely empathetic, kind, and diligent in helping me.
Patrick just helped me get all my accounts in order. I have been in contact with multiple people from the office but Patrick was by far the most helpful and best to work with.
Missouri taxes are the absolute worst. Vehicles being managed by the tax department is insane. I moved out of state, and am still liable for the insane personal property tax thingy just because I moved close to new years, and it wasn't possible to register my vehicle before Jan 1. Oh, or I could have filed a declaration or something, not that I know what that is or how to still since I'm a baby's gestation too late. So now at end of year I get to pay a tax back to Missouri which I haven't lived in the whole year. Feels like ... read more
