It’s disappointing to see some of the negative reviews on this page, as they don’t reflect our experience at all. My mother has had a Home Care Package with St John’s for over a year now, and we couldn’t be happier. The office staff are always friendly and helpful, and the rostering team consistently go above and beyond to assist whenever they can. Instead of relying on Google reviews, I’d encourage anyone to give them a call or visit the office in person - you’ll see firsthand the genuine care and support they provide.
Sorry Meg but employment reviews are meant to go on Seek reviews. It’s obvious that St. John’s ratings are low so you’ve re order an employee review in the space set aside for the people that St. John’s are to be serving. I fully regret engaging St. John’s as a care provider and I would not let you guys take care of my dog. Let’s talk about Stacey. I get it that their carers get sick or last minute changes but when this person calls about it she someone manages to make you feel like it’s your fault. She is steely and abrupt. Not the kind of person you want in that position. Everyone she calls I cringe because I know all my appointments I’ve organised I have to change or cancel and I’ll feel guilty. She should be a politician.
I have been employed with St Johns Community Care for just under 2 years now. They have been excellent in helping me reach my career goals. I have completed 2 certifications and am soon to commence my Diploma. All of this has been do- able with constant support and praise from my management team. The workplace is a positive and friendly environment to be in. I am absolutely stoked with my position and immensely enjoy supporting the community via St John’s Community Care.
If you are looking for a Home Care Package Provider go elsewhere. I did! Sick of being lied to. The care staff are the backbone of St. John's yet treated abominably. It is a revolving door. In my opinion it is all about money, money, money and it is the Government's. Without their clients and the Home Care Packages they have no business. Do your homework and find a Provider who has your best interests at heart not theirs!
