I never worked for SSU however, the hiring process is something to be desired. SSU, in a very tight job market assuming that the potential employee is desperate for employment. SSU required a EIN, car insurance, tags, camera etc. to be ready to go without disclosing an actual rate of pay. The rate of pay would be discussed at orientation AFTER all that ground work would be completed. Well... They bring in a bunch of people for a four hour orientation and ship you out with 25 subpoenas. You get paid $15 per successful serve. It's impossible to know whether or not the crooks are home or not. If they are, they don't answer the door because they don't want to be sued. I served two in six hours, after a half tank of gas. The app that they require may or may not work on your phone, so make sure it does ahead of time. Very vague instructions, and low success rate. Turnover is high because of this.
