SSM Health Day Institute in Chesterfield is an outstanding rehab facility! I was stricken with hydrocephalus and the therapists at SSM Chesterfield knew how to get me back to “normal”. Casey, Mallory and Brea were caring pros that encouraged me to work hard to be able to get back to normal. All the staff there were fabulous, too. I am very pleased with the entire staff of the Day Institute. I have personally experienced significant improvements in my condition since starting the program. On October 26, 2025 I suffered an ischemic stroke in the right hemisphere of my brain. The resulting effects were left arm paralysis, inability to move my left hand with the exception of slight (1/4 inch) movement of my thumb, left leg weakness and inability to raise my leg more than a few inches off of the floor. Great Therapists. All seem to enjoy their work and care for the patients. Can get a little crowded around the 11:00 time period but not a major issue.
