I visited the Montreal store, tried on a piece I loved, and paid for it in person. I was told it would be shipped to me — no issues. Days later, I discovered the order was quietly marked as “Cancelled.” No one reached out. No refund notification. I had to chase answers myself. Eventually, I was told the item was sold to someone else due to a “stock discrepancy.” How does that happen when I physically held the item and paid for it in-store? The apology? I never received my order of $1000+ from SSENSE and they never refunded me. A scam!
Contacted Ssense as I was looking to purchase a bag that was discounted on the original website of the brand(Marc Jacobs) She simply said they can not match its against their policies.
UPDATE: As I suspected years ago when I made my review, MOST luxury brands are not associated with SSense anymore. If SSense is selling their items, they’re old stock (hence why NOTHING is regular price). I took a chance on a few sale items and they all came BEAT UP! They have old sale sitting around damaged that they’re peddling to people. I worry SSense is going to have issues with inauthentic product by way of new Wholesale sources (aka NOT direct brand agreements) or improperly documented returns.
