I am a retired Federal Employee, I have friends that get their retirement check the same day mine goes in the bank, thier bank gives them credit, after all it's a federal check, it's not going to bounce, however this bank elects to hold me to the first, instead of allowing me to enjoy my check. Today as I have done for months now, I called to inquire, they left at noon, I can only assume I will get my credit, on the first, instead of when they recieved the check, which does not serve me adequately as a member!!! I didnt want to put yes, but i want to let srp know that donna in customer service is the best customer service woman I have ever had the pleasure of talking to, she deserves a raise for the extra mile she went to help me, and the only reason I might keep an account open with them. I wish more ppl were like this woman, even though the phone, I could feel God in her voice, shes a wonderful woman...thank you donna so much
worst bank I ever had, managers were rude and terrible hours. Do yourself a favor and get a real bank went to wells fargo and and never went back. App is clunky. You have been warned. Also have no military benefits whatsoever so fellow soldiers stay away from this bank
I tried to use my debit card to get cash at a SRP ATM and my card was denied. I then tried to use my debit card to buy lunch for my family and was told it was ISF even though my account showed all my money still in the account. I was then forced to talk to people on the phone at a call center in India who did NOT speak English! Really a local credit union and you are forced to talk to people in India when you have an emergency. We will be closing our accounts.
I stopped in SRP today and asked about their Fall (Usually October) loan special they are famous for.I had been looking for a flyer for weeks. I was informed there is a new President and no more Fall and Spring loan specials....this set you far apart from others.....bad move SRP.....New Pres.... what are you thinking???
Great service by wonderful people. I have banked with them since I was 13 years old! SRP is involved with the community, and they enable business and help you reach personal goals. I highly recommend them for all of your banking needs.
