The employees there seem thoroughly unhappy in their jobs. I’ve been several times this year, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone smile. I understand customer service isn’t the most exciting line of work, but basic courtesy would go a long way. On my visit today, my wife, who is 36 years old, was carded rather aggressively, as though we’d done something wrong. When we asked what criteria they use for requesting ID, they refused to explain. The whole interaction left us feeling quite uncomfortable.
