My wife and I were visiting old friends in the area when they brought us to this vibrant hamlet, where we found Spruce Home goods. A thoughtfully curated collection of gifts and a cheese selection to please any pallet. My wife came away with some nifty bowls as hostess gifts and I found 2 luxurious goudas. The comte was mild and nutty but the other (can't recall name) was much more mature and flavorfull. Both made amazing grilled cheese sandwiches. We will be back for sure!! if i could have gluten i'd have tried everything . i almost did anyway best coffee in the region though!
I’m stunned!! I purchased several varieties of pastries from Spruce yesterday. Because I only wanted to eat half of this fig pastry, I broke it in half only to discover significant green mold growth, which must be a health hazard. I’m now hesitant to eat the remainder of the baked goods. Be careful!
Great shop with great owner. Baked goods and variety of specialty cheeses. A pleasing experience all the way around! Try something different and make this a stop when you're in town!
