The self-checkout experience is incredibly uncomfortable. The workers stare you down like you’ve just robbed a bank, yet they seem completely uninterested in actually being helpful. The staff comes across as very immature, often laughing and gossiping instead of doing their jobs. The girl working the self-checkout during my visit was particularly unprofessional. Apparently we are all having the same experience with customer service. Only one lane open so I went to self checkout and I think her name might be Deb short bright red hair lady. As I was checking out I was struggling with the scale it kept saying there was an error and to reset it. I was in there at the seafood area along with two other people we waited 8 minutes and no one was there. All three of us saw two workers through a big glass they looked at all three of us and continued on laughing with each other and ignoring us. The one lady was visibly upset so I said something to them saying we thought no one was working back here even the sushi man noticed we were waiting too long and he finally went and got them? I went into the store and the cashier was really nice. Her name was Marcella, we got to talking about vitamins because I couldn’t figure out which ones to buy and she recommended quite a few I didn’t know about. If you ever run into her at the store be sure to ask her opinion since she is very knowledgeable!
