Since the new owners have taken over they have incresed prices, but not spent any money maintining the home, there are walls fallen down at the front, branches hanging off trees, bins overflowing, long time serving staff have left bringing in agency staff, no maintenance in the rooms of residents. The quality and care in the home has gone down hill terribly in the last 4-5 months. Cutting spending but raising fees, typical of owners only bothered about profit margins unfortunately

Just been a really lovely place for my mother in law. She passed away there but their love and care was amazing. It really is a fantastic place to call home

My Mum ( Frances ) moved in to Springwood House a year ago this Friday. She could not be in a better HOME. It’s a small family run home and is run with such care for the folks who live there. Everything that Mum needs is provided, but it’s the personal family atmosphere there that really sets Springwood apart. The house is beautiful (1897 stone built) and sits in lovely grounds that the residents can enjoy ( and the staff hold gardening activities for those who wish to join in).
