The city of springfield will tow your car (even with good registration) in front of your house while you are on vacation.
I received a parking ticket for being literally inches over a a white line which was very hard to see while parking. Maybe send a crew out to paint the lines so people can actually see them.
For whatever reason the meter maids in Springfield IL lurk around the same downtown area every single day!!!! Some of us park at a meter (for work)in last resort running late or in bad weather!! You would think meter maids would be at ease in snow and ice and freezing temps but nope not in downtown Springfield!!!!! 4 min expired earns you a 10$ ticket. And we wonder why tourism is down in downtown Springfield??!
