Despite the nearby highway and train traffic this is the loveliest most peaceful park in the county. Water quality is yet to be determined, but I suggest filtering for purifying before drinking.
There is a lovely little spring coming out of the rocks on a bank in this park. Also, there is a huge oak tree that is the second largest oak in Georgia! (There is a sign saying that you have to have a permit to go in, but we talked to locals and they said that you could go in for a little while and they wouldn’t care.) We spent about an hour there.
