Their customer service (on the phone) is phenomenal. I'm not even a customer of theirs yet, and I can tell they have some great people working there. Update: I am now a customer. One of the first things I noticed was that the "tellers" know quite a bit about banking, which I haven't found at other banks. You get a HomeTown feel when you walk in the door because it's not set up like other banks. They were knowledgeable and extremely helpful in my banking needs. You'll never be just a customer there.
There is something internally wrong with this bank. I applied for my wife’s small business refinance loan for her company, they pulled my personal credit and I have nothing to do with the business. My wife’s personal credit was also pulled, which is okay. However, they wouldn’t return our calls or carry through with what they promised. We have given them all the information and documentation they requested but no answers. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional.
